Self made, my god I hate that term. No one is truly self made, everyone has help from someone. Her parents probably 1. gave her somewhere to live, 2. paid for her schooling and 3. gave her all the emotional support she needs.

A lot of people don't even have those three things above as they costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, that's hundreds of thousands of dollars inherited from her parents.

"Self made" suggests that any intelligent, hard working person could make it without any help from anyone else regardless of their starting circumstances which is not true.

I'd have to say I disagree. I think luck has absolutely everything to do with it. If you were an orphan in a third world country, people starving all around you, would you be as likely to do well financially as someone born into an upper class family in a developed country? Luck is everything.

I get upset when people say that luck has little to do with it as it suggests that anyone can be rich as long as they work hard, this is simply not true, a LOT of people are to unlucky enough not to have any opportunities at all.

You have to be luck enough to:

- have enough to eat
- have somewhere to live
- be able to go to school
- good mentality

and probably a million other things. The majority of people are too unlucky (to disadvantaged) to be likely to ever be successful. There's only so much pie to go around, not everyone can have a slice.

A lot of people like to say "well they're poor because they're too lazy or stupid" in order to elevate themselves without being capable of understanding the difficulties that person has had to go through just to get where they are. People like to kick others while they're down rather than helping them onto their feet. And if you still don't believe it's luck, well laziness and stupidity are two very unlucky traits; you still have to be lucky enough not to be lazy or stupid!

I believe it's not where your at, but where you've come from. A man who works his entire life at a minimum wage job only to have nothing to show for it is more successful than someone who does nothing their entire life then wins the lottery. The guy who worked his entire life will have a satisfaction the lazy lottery winner will never know. Just because a person has money does not mean they are not completely useless, look at Paris Hilton, what can she actually do?

This is ridiculously expensive and since when has pure silk begun to cost $5000 bucks, and the dress isn't even attractive. Sheer wastage of money if you ask me, not worth even a quarter of the price being quoted.

What's the problem with FXCM and eToro?
FXCM is a huge company (they're worth around 500 million dollars) and as far as I know eToro is legit too.
Both of them don't seem companies that scam their customers.
What makes you think there is something wrong with them?

Sorry ladies but I again disagree. I have experienced and heard stories that are absolutely the truth but which, if written into the plot of a book or soap opera, would receive the same response. It is by no means a stretch of the imagination to think that someone in Granny B's could have killed her. Take a look at the Bambi Caffel case or the Mendez brothers.... truth is often stranger than fiction and I for one don't find this plot strange in the least. In fact, it adds to the realism for me because statistically, murders are committed by someone the victim knows intimately.

Yet again, the undertow of emotion in this story continues to intrigue me. The bluntly stated, 'My little sister Keisha had been raped and killed when she was eleven just two years after Granny B died. I was 15 at the time. I read about her death in the daily news paper' is the kind of statement that, as a psychotherapist, if I heard from a client would cause me to anticipate the need to delve deep into the effects of Keisha's death. It's that type of 'delving' that is the promise of this book.

I can't wait to see how she was psychologically affected by this... for she surely was.

Again, there are grammatical errors, such as a lack of punctuation, but again, that's an editor's job. It in no way detracts from the story.

There are indeed some grammatical errors and mistakes with construction, but that's what editors are for. The story continues to leave me wanting to read more, and that, above anything else, is what will make this book sell. It's what constitutes the 'X factor' that publishers - and readers - are looking for.
