Tory Burch’s Reva Metallic Flat looks fit for a trip to Oz

No doubt there will be some of you who like the look of this bougainvillea pink mirrored leather Tory Burch flat with the tonal logo plate on vamp and runched elastic back; but personally I think it looks like Dorothy’s Ruby slippers, only it’s not ruby and it’s a ballet style flat.

The two things I hate about Tory Burch’s Reva Metallic pink flat are what account for it’s personality: the brightness of the color and the logo plate on the vamp.

This shoe is way too shiny for my taste and the logo plate thingy isn’t pretty.
By the way, if you don’t know Tory Burch, according to Wikipedia she’s a socialite fashion designer and a celebrity business person who was born and raised in Philadelphia high society. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania then moved to New York City in pursuit of a career in fashion.

Tory Burch apparently had a reputation for dating only extremely rich men.

Wikipedia writes:

With the financial savvy of her former second husband, she began a fashion label in February 2004 in New York City. The label was an immediate success and was even endorsed by Oprah Winfrey the following year. The label has opened stores in several large American cities and has lines that are sold in several upscale specialty department stores.

Apparently Tory Burch has won multiple awards for her designs, so I guess it’s not so much that the shoe is ugly as that I don’t have any taste in fashion?
