Forex trading can make you a rich woman but that doesn’t mean you will become a rich woman trading forex. The point here is that anything is possible, so if you’ve heard that forex trading can make you a rich woman you can believe it because it’s true. Forex trading can make you a rich woman, but just because it “can” make you a rich woman doesn’t mean it “will”.

If you’ve heard that millions of people are making a killing trading forex and an increasing number of women, particularly women working from home, are turning to forex trading to make a living and making impressive money trading currency on their computer, don’t be too eager to believe you’re being given accurate information.

Forex is becoming more and more popular that is true. Online retail forex firms are staging campaigns to try to bring more people into forex trading because, obviously, the more people they can convince that forex trading is the gold mine of the 21st century, the more money they stand to make; and more women are becoming at least curious about forex trading because a lot of scammers out there consider women, particularly women working from home or trying to find work at home opportunities so they can quit their jobs and stay home with their children, to be easy targets. To that end they are marketing heavily to women who are already at home but looking for work at home opportunities so they can stay at home, or to women who want to stay home and are looking for work at home opportunities so they can leave their jobs.

It’s not that these scammers think such women are stupid but that they know the women are desperate and willing to try almost anything in the hope of finding a legitimate way to make money at home so they can stay home with their children.

Is forex trading a legitimate way to make money at home? Technically speaking forex trading is a legitimate way to make money at home, but even the NFA (National Futures Association) warns that forex trading is not suitable for most members of the general public. Note that they do not say “some” members of the general public. They say “most” members of the  general public.

Does that mean you shouldn’t trade forex? No, that does not mean you shouldn’t trade forex. It simply means that forex trading is not as easy as you’ll read it is from people who are hoping to sell you on it because they want your money. There aren’t millions of women just like you making a killing every  day in the forex market trading currencies. There are women making money trading forex, yes, but the image of housewives all over the globe raking in millions is one that is being painted by people who hope to convince you that you should hop on the forex trading bandwagon.

The truth is, most new traders lose their money and it more often than not takes months and even years for traders who aren’t pros to begin to make any real money trading forex, assuming they stick it through.

Yes, forex trading can make you a rich woman, just the same way investing in real estate can make you a rich woman, just the same way writing a few best-selling novels can make you a rich woman and the myriad other things you can do that can make you a rich woman. Forex trading is legitimate. Anyone can trade as long as they know how to use their trading platform; but it doesn’t logically follow that anyone can make money trading. Whether or not you make money trading forex will come down to a question of how much you know about the currency trading market and how good you are at trading currency for profit.
