Khloe (26) wore the Bebe dress to a Weezer concert and Kim wore the dress a few days later going to dinner with some freinds. Kim also had leopard print Louboutin heels on. It is not known, if this was the same exact dress or 2 different ones. It is probably a different one, since the two have different sizes and heights.
Khloe said: “When I was a chunky little 8-year-old and I had these two beautiful sisters, I’d wonder, why don’t I look like that?” she has said. “Now I hate it when people compare me to my sisters. Kourtney’s 5 feet, I’m 5-foot-10 and Kim is 5-foot-2. I will never look like them. No matter how skinny I am, that body will never be mine.”
Oprah Winfrey announced several months ago that this year will be her last season. Recently she has been interviewed by TV Guide and we will post some highlights for you here.
“I don’t intend to be crying the whole season,” Winfrey told TV Guide. “The only time I get really emotional and nostalgic about the show is when I think about the viewers. Hopefully some of them will follow me to OWN, but I know not everybody will.”
“I can assure you we’re saying to all of our celebrity friends this is not the year you can come on and just promote your book or promote your song. You have to create moments,” Winfrey said.
TV Guide Magazine: Throughout the season, will you go back to your favorite moments on the show?
Winfrey: “There will be some of that. We have nearly 5,000 hours [of footage], and we broke up into different teams of people who have over the past eight, nine months looked at every single show. ”
TV Guide Magazine: Have you asked President Obama to make an appearance?
Winfrey: “No, I did not ask him to come on this year. But I did say, “I’m sure you will hear from somebody on my team before this year is over.” [Laughs] I’m sure that at some point I will see a taped message or something.”
TV Guide Magazine: Is there a secret to creating a great talk show?
Winfrey: “The secret is authenticity. The reason people fail is because they’re pretending to be something they’re not. And even those who are not in alignment with my value system, people like Jerry Springer, he works because he’s real. If you can find what the passion is and figure out a way to express that in an authentic and entertaining way, you have a chance at success.”
On August 27th Paris Hilton was pulled over in Las Vegas after police smelled marijuana smell from her car. Her boyfriend was driving the car and possibly the one that smoked the marijuana. No marijuana was found, but police discovered 0.8 grams of cocaine in Hilton’s purse, and on Monday, she was charged with felony cocaine possession.
On Wednesday of last week, Paris Hilton posted on her Twitter account: “These rumors going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel, I’m not going to even pay attention to them, because I know the truth.”
Hilton has denied that the purse containing the cocaine belonged to her, and her attorney, David Chesnoff, has insisted the amount allegedly found is “negligible, the purse it was found in wasn’t hers and Paris was illegally searched.
Wynn Hotel has also announced that Paris Hilton will no longer be welcome in their hotel. Perhaps Hilton could consider another hotel called “Hilton” next time she stays in Vegas.
Even at the height of her popularity on the TV show The O.C., no one ever claimed that Mischa Barton was the second coming of Katherine Hepburn in terms of acting ability. But she’s recently been given the most difficult acting assignment of her life. I’m not talking about her upcoming TV show The Beautiful Life, but having to convince the public that her recent “involuntary commitment” into the nuthouse was because of wisdom tooth surgery.
“Here’s what happened: Before the show started, I was traveling abroad for contract stuff and I went through a terrible surgery—a wisdom tooth surgery, all four removed. It was a nightmare. I’ve never had surgery before—it all went wrong and I had to have a second surgery and it almost delayed shooting because it was a nightmare to me, because I couldn’t deal with the thought of not getting there on time. So with the travel, and surgery and prep for the show—it was hell.”
You’d pretty much have to be the love child of Sean Penn and Kate Winslet to have the acting options to sell me on that story and not some starlet like Barton. Couldn’t she have just used “exhaustion” like everyone else?
To say that Anne Heche has a history with acting bizarre is like saying that Paris Hilton sometimes says dumb things. While she has starred in hit films and TV shows (including her latest film Spread and HBO show Hung), she’s probably more known for a personal life that has included high-profile relationships with men (Steve Martin, Lindsey Buckingham) and women (Ellen DeGeneres) and her emotional meltdowns.
Last week, Heche added another “public insanity” notch to her belt, although she at least avoided showing up at a stranger’s house in Fresno while waiting for the spaceship. Instead, as a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman, she went off on a lengthy, uncomfortable rant against her ex-husband Coley Laffoon, repeatedly calling him “lazy,” mocking his soccer coaching aspirations with their son and intimating that he lives off of the alimony check he receives from her.
That’s just…awkward and painful to watch. Even Letterman seemed uncomfortable, and he’s dealt with Joaquin Phoenix. Still, it’s good to know that regardless of if she’s gay or straight this week, Anne Heche is always a fashionable and entertaining train wreck.
If we were in the mood to be cynical, we’d say that adopting bunches of children from third world countries was something of a celebrity trend. Just look at the brood that Angelina Jolie has assembled. However, it also makes a lot of sense if you think about it. There are a disturbingly large number of children in the world that have no families and live in intolerable conditions. Who better to take them in than a celeb with tons of money and space to spare?
When Madonna adopted her son David from the impoverished African nation of Malawi back in 2006, there were plenty of headlines about the adoption and questions whether the pop star had been allowed to skip over some of the red tape that a less famous foreigner would have had to deal with. This time, however, the headlines are being generated for a far different reason. A judge rejected her request to adopt a second child: Chifundo “Mercy” James, age three. The judge stated that it would be bending the rules to allow her to sidestep the requirement that states prospective parents must live in the country for a period of time.
While Madonna has been praised by officials for the charity work that she’s accomplished in the country, the judge stated that the country needed to be careful to avoid “opening the doors too wide” to foreigners seeking adoption. It was also made clear that the little girl in question was receiving care deemed as “suitable” in her current orphanage, as opposed to David’s situation over two years ago.
For those who love following the rollercoaster relationships of their favorite stars, the celebrity pairing of Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer has certainly been an interesting ride. The on-again off-again couple appeared closer than ever at the 2009 Oscars just last month. However, it appears the couple has broken it off for good. And surprisingly enough, the blame for the breakup seems to fall on John Mayer’s obsessing with the social networking website Twitter.

This popular site allows you to post text message-sized updates about your life for your followers to read. Many celebrities and companies have embraced Twitter as a tool for communication with fans and customers.

According to one source, Aniston called it quits because Mayer was spending more time spending tweets to his fans than he was calling or e-mailing her. Ouch. Apparently, he failed to return her messages, claiming he was busy with work. However, he was still taking the time to send out hourly tweets. Really John, would it have been that hard to send your girlfriend a text message at the same time you were sending one to your favorite website? And, not surprising to those who accept this story as truth, Mayer twittered about the breakup as well. What did he have to say? “This heart didn’t come with instructions.”
Anyone who follows the lifestyles of the rich and famous knows that celebrities are big on charity. Whether they are passionate about issues or they simply want a tax break (we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but we know not everyone is actually the angel they appear to be for the press), having a celebrity throwing their weight behind a cause can mean a big boost in donations for related charities. Regular people love the celebrity lifestyle — that’s why there are so many shows and websites devoted to the things they say and do and wear. For those who want to be a little bit more like their favorite actor or singer or model, supporting a cause that they support is a way to feel like you have something in common with them while also doing something that you can feel good about.

One organization, Tag the World, has taken an interesting approach to this. They have had jewelry designer Michael Barin create five different dog tags to represent five different causes: children, cancer, animals, Africa, and green. The term “dog tag” is a bit of a misnomer, as these sterling silver necklaces each have a beautiful and elaborate open design that is meant to symbolize the heart of the cause. The proceeds from the sale of these tags will be donated to related charities. This organization has already attracted some celebrity support, and we look forward to seeing these lovely tags around the necks of some of the hottest stars around.

That’s what the presenters at the Oscars used to look forward to each year when they receive their gift bags from the Academy. These highly-coveted bags were packed with goodies worth up to $100,000. What kind of items could be found in these treasure troves? Everything from iPods to stays at five star hotels to watches worth thousands of dollars.
Why is it that companies would want to give away such expensive products to celebrities, considering that they’re generally more than wealthy enough to pay for them? The companies actually see this as an affordable form of advertising, as a celebrity spotted with one of their products can spark a huge rush in sales. Giving away a product to a celeb is less expensive than a nationwide ad campaign, and the results can sometimes be much more rewarding.

Aside from the important changes that this country will see as a result in the new administration, many women are pleased to see the new fashion influence we have in the form of lovely first lady Michelle Obama. Known for her interest in young up-and-coming American designers, particularly those who were born in other countries, Michelle’s outfits for inauguration day were the talk of not only the town, but the whole country.
First was the sheath dress and coat she wore to the swearing-in itself. Designed by Isabel Toledo, a Cuban-born designer, this outfit wasn’t the usual subdued colors you would expect to see at this type of event, but rather a warm and sunny tone that is being called lemon grass. This was a beautiful choice that represented the optimism and change that characterized her husband’s campaign.
For the inaugural balls, Michelle went with a gorgeous gown by Jason Wu, a young designer from New York who is only 26 years old. This cream-colored gown was notable for its one-shoulder design and will be donated to the Smithsonian. It is expected that this look will inspire designs for spring–the company ABS is already working on a gown heavily inspired by the First Lady’s stunning choice.
